Thank you for buying a product supplied by The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd. The products are meant to last. The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd distributes all it’s brands products through its national network of authorised distributors and retailers. You will find herein/ below all The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd warranty policy details offered by The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd and the The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd retailers.
1. Warranty Definition
The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd provides it’s warranty to buyers who purchased The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd products from The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd or a The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd authorised retailer.
The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd provides it’s warranty to buyers of solely their brands: Hedgehogs, Wolfrock, HippoCreek, Igloo.
This warranty is valid and enforceable only in the region where the product was purchased by the end user, provided that The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd has intended the the product for sale in that region.
2. Warranty Period
The Warranty Period starts at the date of retail purchase of the product by the original end – user purchaser and is valid for 6 Months for all products.
3. Not covered by the Warranty
The warranty does not cover and is not enforceable if:
- Damages due to improper use of the products and poor maintenance;
- Damages due to modification of the products;
- Damages due to the products normal wear and tear;
- Damages due to any impact caused by sharp items, due to torsion, compression, a fall, an abnormal impact or other action that cannot be under The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd reasonable control;
- The product has been modified or repaired by any person or entity other than The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd or an authorised The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd retailer;
- The product has been repaired with unauthorised spare parts;
- The claimant is not able to provide proof of purchase
4. Warranty Enforcement
In case of defect, The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd agrees to accept the claim, replace or credit the product at no charge for the end – user and return it. This shall be determined in the sole discretion of The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd or its authorised retailer.
The Authentic Brands Co. (Pty) Ltd agrees that all repairs or replacements of the product will occur within a reasonable period and without any major inconvenience for the customer, taking into account the nature of the good’s and normal production timelines and procedures.
